In the world of the Kanganas and the Katrinas, it’s difficult for a girl with a simple and sweet image like Amrita Rao to hold her own.Even actresses who started off as girls next door like Minissha Lamba are trying hard for a super sexy makeover.
But Amrita Rao is doing well, her own way. This, inspite of being criticized time and again for being a behenji. After playing a convincing teen in ‘Main Hoon Na’ and a few flops later, she went ahead and turned simple and sweet for ‘Vivaah’ and the well made ‘Welcome to Sajjanpur’.
In between there was a slightly sexy makeover for ‘My name is Anthony Gonsalves’ which didn’t do her a world of good since the movie tanked. People seem to like Amrita only sweet and simple.
Now the lass is getting a chance to star with Amitabh Bachchan in Chandraprakash Dwivedi’s next flick.
