Ever since Daniel ‘James Bond’ Craig met Shilpa Shetty, he is going around town saying that she is the perfect Bond girl for him. Though there were strong rumours that Shilpa is going to star as a Bond girl, Shilpa put those rumours to rest saying that nobody has approached her yet to star in a Bond movie. But now it seems that the call for being a Bond girl is not far away the way Daniel is completely smitten by Shilpa and her ‘killing figure’.

Says Daniel in a recent interview, “I haven’t met any of the Indian film actors in person except Shilpa Shetty. She is beautiful and very talented too. I think she looks great and has a killing figure, just right for a Bond girl.” Now, isn’t that the best compliment Shilpa has got?

Reshooting for Ghajini

It is known news that Ghajini is being remade in Hindi with the same title. Amir Khan is donning the lead role with Asin as his pair. This film is being directed by A R Murugadoss who directed the Tamil version starring Surya and Asin. The film has been canned recently and is all set for release with so many promos in the air. But when Amir saw the whole film recently, he was not satisfied with some scenes. So he had requested the director to reshoot the scenes. The reshooting will commence from November 20th in Ravine Resorts near Mumbai sea shores. Twenty rooms have been booked for the crew and cast in this resort. The shooting will be completed in three days.

Jyothi Lakshmi danced for the same song after 40 yrs

The comedy entertainer ‘Kuberulu’ is currently under brisk progress with the picturisation of song on Jyothi Lakshmi at Ramanaidu Cine Village, Nanakramguda, Hyderabad. Directed by Srinivas Reddy, the film was jointly produced by Karuturi Srinivas and Yaganti Srinivas under Godavari Talkies banner.

Briefing about the film’s progress director Srinivas Reddy said that an item song with folk touch is being picturised on Jyothi Lakshmi with which the entire shooting will be completed. “Jyothi Lakshmi danced for the same song ‘Gudi enaka Naa saami…’ some 40 years ago.

It’s worth to mention here that she is performing the same number at the age of 60 with the same energy and grace in her. We would complete all other formalities very soon as we are planning to release the film on either 21 or 22 of November", said the director excitingly.

Rajinikanth's next on April 14

Rajinikanth's much-awaited animation movie 'Sultan -The Warrior' will hit the screens on 14th April, 2009.

Directed by Rajnikanth's daughter Soundarya, the movie features Rajnikanth as a charming warrior and is loaded with his characteristic punch lines and mannerisms. Soundarya, managing director of Ocher Studios, has teamed up with Adlabs to bring out this animated project.

The film boasts of some big names like music composer A R Rahman, lyricist Vairamuthu and art director Thota Tharani.

Soundarya Rajnikanth, said, 'we are the first in India to venture into a feature length 3D film at this scale on par with any other Pixar or Dreamworks' movies'.

The character modeling, texturing, visual effects, lighting, animation are all being done in-house. It will be released in 12 different languages including Tamil, Hindi, Telugu and English to name a few.

'I am a great fan of Rajinikanth and I love all his films. Sultan The Warrior would appease all his fans. The movie is a dedication to my father for all his contribution to cinema,' she said and added, 'my father initially had apprehensions about my directorial skills. I convinced him thoroughly and he is now happy to be a part of the project'.

Celina Jaitley turns Stripper!

She has reportedly been bragging about her role, “I am playing this girl born to an English man and Indian woman. She unfortunately comes from a very poor family background in London. She has grown up to be a stripper in a night club and a con artist. Basically her main aim is to own a night club.”

Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya Rai to star together again

Hrithik Roshan’s presence in the project is old news but Sanjay Leela Bhansali approaching Aishwarya Rai is fresh fodder for the grape vine. Hrithik and Aishwarya will be coming together for the third time after Dhoom-2 and Jodha Akbar. They have exhibited tremendous on screen chemistry so far.

Bhansali must be counting on this chemistry to work for this project. The movie is based on a story penned by the director himself. Bipasha gets marriage proposal

After her initial hesitation, she turned to him and politely but very firmly turned down his proposal. She told the guy that John was in her life and they both loved each other very much."

Talking about the marriage proposal, Bips quips, "The proposal is something silly. I don't really want to talk about it. I am here to work and not to get marriage proposals from cops. I wish they understood that."

Brangelina to adopt another child?

Hollywood couple Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have revealed that they are keen to adopt a child from South America, but are being held back by the complicated adoption laws there.

They already — who already have three adopted children, Maddox, seven, from Cambodia, Pax, four, from Vietnam, and Zahara, three, from Ethiopia, and three biological children Shiloh, two, and baby twins Knox and Vivienne — are eager to add another child to their already huge brood.

Angelina had recently announced that the couple would be ready to adopt another child from abroad as soon as the twins turned six months old, and that they had started looking into which part of the world the child would come from.

The actress, however, admits that they have already run into difficulties, especially with both of them being unmarried.

“We’ve thought about South or Latin America, but it’s very complicated. Brad and I aren’t married, so, as a technically single woman
, there are lots of countries I can’t adopt from. And, as a technically single man, most countries wouldn’t allow Brad to adopt at all,” Contatcmusic quoted her as saying.

“Some countries won’t let you adopt a child if you already have a child of the same gender at home,” she added.

Kamal, Mohanlal in 'Thalaivan Irukiran'

The acclaimed actors of Indian cinema who did versatile roles in various Indian languages and won several awards and accolades are coming together for their next.

The latest buzz doing rounds in Kollywood is that Kamal Haasan and Mohanlal will act together in 'Thalaivan Irukiran'.

To be produced by Gemini Films, the movie would be directed and enacted by Kamal Haasan himself. The new film is expected to go on floors from January, 2009.

‘Marmayogi’ to be directed by Kamal Haasan was supposed to hit the floors on the first week of November. Prominent actresses including Shriya and Trisha were reportedly roped in to be a part of the project. However, the project has been temporarily postponed forcing Kamal Haasan to make plans for his next 'Thalaivan Irukiran'.

Bikinied Priyamani woos Nitin?

The spotlight nowadays for heroines seems to be focussed on what they wear or rather how little they wear rather than their acting skills. Bollywood has got the bikini act down pat with heroines in hot pants and mini skirts cavorting in picturesque foreign locations drawing in the crowds at the box-office. The more conservative South Indian film industry has followed suit but slowly.

The first to shock the world was Nayantara’s now famous bikini-clad strut in Billa (2007). Then we heard that Anushka was prepared to do the same in the Telugu remake of Billa starring Prabhas ‘as the role demanded it’. Now Priyamani, another top heroine of the Telugu film industry and a National Awardee is following the beaten path and is rumoured to have agreed to don this enticingly tiny costume in her forthcoming film Drona starring Nitin.

The buzz in the industry is that Priyamani has already shot for a steamy song sequence in this tantalising costume as the story demanded it. Sources have also confirmed that another hot song is being picturised on Priyamani at the Lahari Resorts near Hyderabad. Drona, starring Nitin is being produced by D. S. Rao and directed Kumar, S. S. Rajamouli’s apprentice.

Aishwarya doubts Dhanush-Thamannah

There are times when actors’ wives accompany them while filming in foreign locations. First it was Vijay who after being prone into rumors about his linking with Trisha had his wife Sangeetha accompanying for all shoots. Pretty similar, Dhanush’s wife Aishwarya strides on same epitomes. Busy amidst of shooting schedules for Selvaraghavan’s Aayirathil Oruvan (She works as assistant director), she drops them and fleets along with her husband to Swiss Alphs… You know why? Suman Ranganath costumes reveals extra

Suman Ranganath who is well known for her spicy role in bollywood made her mark in sandalwood with the movie Buddhivantha. The movie was a decent success at the box office and Suman Ranganath received accolades for doing so.

Recently something unexpected happened on the sets of her forth coming film Anjadiru which features Suman in an item song. The shooting is taking place at old Mysoore lamps industry which is well known to the city dwellers.

Suman reached the shooting location on time and her costume was still awaited. The director was getting panic and as soon as the specially tailored costume arrived Suman was hurried into the dressing room. To her surprise when she was about to wear the costume she saw a lizard on it and immediately screamed with fear. One of the assistant directors rushed to the spot only to see Suman in her inner wear. She was first shocked and then laughed and excused the director.

When the shot was ready Suman set the whole unit on fire with her pretty appealing gyrations and immense skin show. But unfortunately one of the hooks of her costume was not properly fixed and the costume sliced down to her naval only to reveal her mind blowing assets to the unit.

But the day of the assistant director was rocking as he saw gorgeous women in her inner wear. Suman Ranganath is a married woman and a divorce now.

Aishwarya under tight security blanket

"Aishwarya Rai" who is attending the shooting of Mani Ratnam’s Ravana is covered with a high profile security in order to keep her role as a secret. The sources report that Mani is pretty adamant to keep his film character’s roles under wrap from media and so Aishwarya Rai is covered with blankets in order to hide her costume.

The shooting is taking place in a forest and Aishwarya was seen in a Brahmin lady costume which suggests the vana parva of Ram and Sita. Aishwarya is covered with either blankets or umbrellas and so the view of her in her costume is impossible.

Meanwhile, Abhishek Bachchan who is playing the role of Ram is seriously ill with viral flu and is said to be in complete bed rest.
