The game — which has Spider-Man dealing with an outbreak of the symbiote across Manhattan that turns his major foes (and even some friends) into Venom-esque nightmares — is set to hit stores on October 21 for all major platforms. G4 got the scoop on the trailer, but now you can check it out below.

Play back singer K J Yesudas to be honoured
South Indian Bank on the occasion of its 80th anniversary will honour famous playback singer K J Yesudas, film-maker Adoor Gopalakrishnan, father of India’s White Revolution Verghese Kurien. The others selected for the honour are leading cardiologist Dr K M Cherian and NRI entrepreneur M A Yusuff Ali, in recognition of their outstanding performance in their respective fields and services to the country. The awards carry Rs 100,000 each, citation and memento. The honour would be bestowed on them at a special function to be organised on January 29, 2009 on the 80th anniversary of SIB, a leading private bank of the country

Mexican/Lebanese actress Salma Hayek, 42, nearly had a wardrobe malfunction when the Bavarian Dirndl dress she was wearing almost slid off her shoulders. Hayek, who made an appearance on a German TV chat show Wetten Dass, was still left with most of her boobs showing as the dress had a very low cut neckline, the Mirror reported.The From Dusk Till Dawn star was forced to wear the outfit after she lost a bet with a member of the audience. This is not the first embarrassing situation the actress has found herself in. Just last week, Hayek was forced to explain her 'sexuality' after a talk show host mistakenly asked her if she was a lesbian.

Halle Berry crowned sexiest woman alive
Six months after giving birth and at age forty, Halle Berry has been named the sexiest woman alive by the men’s magazine Esquire.As a celebration of the magazine’s anniversary Berry poses in re-creations of the mag’s covers. In an article posted on the Esquire website, the 42-year-old star responds: "I know damned well I’m sexier now than I used to be.
"Sexy is not about wearing sexy clothes or shaking your booty until you damn near get hip dysplasia; it’s about knowing that sexiness is a state of mind — a comfortable state of being," she said.
"It’s about loving yourself even in your most unlovable moments."
Berry gave birth in March to a baby girl, fathered French-Canadian model Gabriel Aubry, 32.
Berry won an Oscar in 2002 for her role in the movie "Monster’s Ball." With the Oscar win, Berry became the first black woman to take home an Academy Award for Best Actress.
Vaaranam Aayiram may be banned!
The Hindu Makkal Katchi’s Secretary Kannan has requested the Nadigar Sangam President Sarath Kumar to consider banning Divya from acting in Tamil films. According to Mr. Kannan, Divya, a Kannadiga, did not participate in the fasting organized by the Tamil film artistes, directors and producers on the Hogenakkal issue. On the contrary, she was present in thefasting held in Karnataka condemning the Tamils on the same issue.He added that the actress did not offer any explanation for her speech made during this fast. Kannan insisted that the Nadigar Sangam seek an explanation from her and until then her films should not be screened in Tamil Nadu. With this issue cropping up Vaaranam Aayiram may face some problems during its release.

Actress Kajol is so gleeful over getting appointed as the brand ambassador for Britain-based Loomba Trust. Concerned for the education of Children and poor widow, the Trust keeps working for their well being.“I am so privileged to be a part of such a great Trust”, said Kajol as she was honored with a memorial by Cherie, President of Loomba Trust. Cherie Blair is the wife of former British Prime Minister Tony Blair. Kajol was present there at annual Diwali dinner on October 2, which is also marked the UN International Day of Non-violence as it was the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhiji.
Donation of 150, 000 pounds was raised by Trust to provide free education to poor children and monitory fund for widow women in India.
Speaking with high-spiritedness, Cherie stated that with the funds raised by the Trust around 100 children and widows of poor children in every state of India have been benefitted. Also added, she has also strode with the trust’s projects in other countries Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Nepal, South Africa, Kenya and Uganda.
